Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving!
I’m going to take a moment to shove an old cliche down your throat. While you are stuffing your face this holiday weekend, take a moment to remember what you are truly thankful for. For most of us, this means being able to celebrate with our family, friends and also, our children.
For my friend, Peter, taking a day for granted with his son is not an option. If you’ve been following this blog, you’ve read previous posts dedicated to the work and efforts of this remarkable individual here and here.
Because of his own experience with his son, Peter has dedicated an incredible amount of his life fighting against International Parental Child Abduction. His foundation, outlined below, works tirelessly not only to bring home children who have been abducted by their own parents, but to prevent abductions from occurring in the first place.
In order to educate other parents, Peter has produced a documentary film series that I am proud to share on behalf of Mr. Senese below. Please take the time to view these videos, because our kids – our families – are what we’re thankful for this weekend, and every weekend.
In order to help other parents protect targeted children Mr. Senese has created the ‘Chasing Parents’ educational documentary film series that is shared here.
With 125,000 American and 20,000 Canadian children anticipated to be internationally abducted over the next decade, parents must realize that they are only 3 degrees of separation from having this impact their life.
International parental child abduction is a serious issue that we all need to be aware of. Please take the time to educate yourself.
